Abstract

  AbstractThis study aimed to describe the education of sociology departement literacy used by students of sociology of education in preparing the final work in FKIP Tanjungpura University of. The method used is descriptive method survey form with a qualitative approach. Data collected by the indirect communication. Data collection tool used is a questionnaire and documentation in the form outline and design student research. The population of this study were all students of sociology of education that has been qualified in completing course credits a number of 110-115 credits and be eligible to apply for the title of the research to the academic supervisor. The research proves that students in general education courses sociology "in line" in preparing for the writing of the final work through the proposed outline and the design of the proposed research to the academic supervisor or to the sociology of education courses. In particular: 1) student of the sociology of education before writing her college thesis to perform a wide variety of approaches and work hard to get a variety of literacy suite of social media both print and non-print; 2) student education study program of sociology in doing literacy courses to prepare for the final works in sociology of education courses to experience various obstacles whether they are economic, technical as well as non-economic and non-technical; 3) the strategies used to overcome various obstacles in literacy preparation was writing the end of college students of education and sociology are doing searching brawshing using a web search engine sociology department, namely Google and Yahoo and other web search engines. Keywords: literacy, education of sociology, end of college preparatory works

Abstract

AbstraksiTeks Raja Alam (RA) adalah salah satu teks sastra lisan Melayu Sambas. Teks ini pernah hidup dalam tradisi bedande’, satu tradisi bersastra yang sudah hilang. Teksnya disampaikan dengan cara didendangkan. Bahasa yang digunakan adalah Bahasa Melayu Sambas yang diperkaya dengan Bahasa Arab, idiolek, dan bentuk-bentuk stilisasi sehingga bahasanya sangat khas, ialah bahasa bedande’. Teks ini juga kaya dengan formula dan kontruksi formulaik. Teks RA memiliki struktur yang utuh, yang terdiri atas bagian awal, bagian tengah, dan bagian akhir. Totalitas struktur teksnya diapit oleh eksordium dan doa selamat. Eksordium berfungsi mengantarkan pendendangan teks, sedangkan doa selamat berfungsi mengakhiri pendendangan teks. Teks RA tidak muncul dari kekosongan budaya. Sebagai teks yang lahir dari tengah masyarakat Melayu Sambas, tentulah teks ini mengandung nilai-nilai budaya Melayu Sambas. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan terdapat nilai budaya yang berkaitan dengan hakikat kehidupan, hakikat hubungan manusia dengan alam sekitar, hakikat hubungan sesama manusia, hakikat hubungan manusia dengan ruang dan waktu, dan hakikat hubungan manusia dengan kerja. Kata Kunci: Nilai, Budaya, Teks Raja Alam

Abstract

Abstrak Legenda Dayak Kanayatn mencerminkan berbagai ragam peristiwa kehidupan masyarakatnya yang berkaitan dengan word view, ajaran moral, dan berbagai bentuk kearifan lokal yang sangat bermanfaat untuk membentuk perilaku dan pemikiran generasi muda. Sayangnya semakin sedikit generasi muda Dayak Kanayatn yang mewarisi legendanya. Kenyataan ini mendorong peneliti untuk melestarikan legenda Dayak Kanayatn dengan cara mengkaji secara mendalam legenda yang sudah didokumentasikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis simbol-simbol spiritual dari kearifan lokal dalam legenda Dayak Kanayatn. Teori-teori yang digunakan adalah hermeneutika, simbol, legenda, dan kearifan lokal. Peneliti ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang berbentuk kualitatif dan pendekatan hermeneutika. Sumber data adalah cerita Ne’ Baruakng Kulup dan Ria Sinir. Data dalam penyelidikan ini adalah simbol-simbol spiritual dari kearifan lokal yang tercermin melalui kata, frasa, dan kalimat-kalimat yang terdapat dalam cerita Ne’ Baruakng Kulup dan Ria Sinir. Hasil analisis terhadap data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima belas buah simbol spiritual yang dikategorikan sebagai: (1) tradisi-tradisi (berkhitan, mengayau, notokng, baliatn, perkawinan, perceraian); (2) kepercayaan (Jubata, nyangahatn, kekuatan gaib, tariu); dan (3) nilai-nilai lokal (musyawarah, solidaritas, patuh pada aturan adat, persahabatan, dan kekerabatan). Kelima belas simbol spiritual tersebut ditafsirkan dan diperoleh 44 makna. Keempat puluh empat makna tersebut dikelompokkan ke dalam lima kategori, yaitu: (1) makna yang berkaitan dengan kepercayaan warisan, (2) makna yang berkaitan dengan tradisi dan adat istiadat, (3) makna yang berkaitan dengan alam sekitar, (4) makna yang berkaitan dengan perilaku hidup bermasyarakat, dan (5) makna yang berkaitan dengan musyawarah. Kata kunci: legenda, kearifan lokal, hermeneutika, Dayak Kanayatn.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to gain a deep understanding of the implementation of the process approach in teaching writing short stories on students of PGSD FKIP Untan. This study used a qualitative approach. Sources of data in this research is learning events to write a short story using a process approach. Research procedures used in this study is the planning, implementation, data analysis, and report writing. Data collection technique used is the technique of direct observation and document scrutiny. Data collection tool used is a field record sheets and documentation with regard to the learning process and learning outcomes. This research data analysis begins with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion / verification. Based on the results and discussion of this research can be concluded that the process approach can improve the skills of students to write short stories. This increase can be seen from both process and product. Learning to write by following the steps in the process approach can help lecturers provide variety and stimulation in a given assignments to write short stories. In the process of improvement can be seen from the learning process with the creative writing process approach in the activities of the students and the classroom situation in learning creative writing poetry, while in terms of products increase student skills to write short stories. Keywords: process approach, teaching writing, short story

Abstract

Abstract This is a research on linguistics field, that is Nasalization Process of Bidayuh-Somu language. Nasalization is is a process of affixation as one of word formation processes. The Nasalization is one of processes to derive verb, that is transitive verb. Result of the research shows, the Nasalization Process in the Bidayuh-Somu language is applied through affixation of Nasalization morpheme and its variants comprising allomorphs and homorganic nasals to root word. Analysis on structure shows, Nasalization in the Bidayuh-Somu langauge applies by replacing and/or adding root word with the allomorphs and homorganic nasals. Therefore, the Nasalization in the Bidayuh-Somu language functions both as class-maintaining and class-changing. As class-maintaining, the Nasalization is prefixed to root word that is verbal. Meanwhile as class-changing, the Nasalization in this Bidayuh-Somu language is prefixed to root word that is nominal. Besides, it was also found out that the Nasalization is functioned to derive active verb, that is transitive verb. Keywords: Nasalization Process, Morpheme and Nasalization Allomorph, Repalcive and Additive Nasalization.

Abstract

Abstrak Kesetaraan gender yang selama ini diperjuangkan oleh banyak tokoh perempuan di negeri ini bahkan di dunia, ternyata tidak serta merta menjadikan perempuan hidup lebih layak jika dilihat dari segi mendapatkan pekerjaan yang layak. Banyak hal yang dijadikan alasan oleh banyak pihak untuk tidak memberikan kesempatan perempuan bekerja di luar rumah. Beberapa alasan untuk tidak menjadikan perempuan bekerja di luar rumah adalah: 1)   rendahnya tingkat pendidikan kaum perempuan, hingga tidak layak untuk bekerja di bidang tertentu; 2) adanya kekhawatiran banyak pihak bahwa perempuan yang bekerja di luar rumah akan meninggalkan pekerjaan rumah sebagai ibu dan sebagai istri; 3) kurangnya pengalaman perempuan bekerja di luar rumah, sehingga dikhawatirkan perempuan tidak dapat mengerjakan pekerjaannya dengan baik; dan 4) adanya anggapan bahwa perempuan itu lemah, sehingga dikhawatirkan tidak mampu mengerjakan pekerja-an-pekerjaan berat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pendeskripsian tingkat beban kerja dan tingginya tingkat pengangguran yang dialami perempuan usia produktif di Desa Trimulya SP II Kecamatan Mukok Kabupaten Sanggau akibat rendahnya pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian kualitatif, dengan instrumen penelitian peneliti sendiri. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan teknik observasi dan dokumenter, sumber data dokumen desa, data penelitian berupa tingkat pendidikan dan jumlah pengangguran. Hasil penelitian ini adalah rendahnya tingkat pendidikan menyebabkan tingginya tingkat beban kerja dan tingkat pengangguran yang dialami perempuan di Desa Trimulya Kecamatan Mukok Kabupaten Sanggau. Kata kunci: Beban Kerja, Pengangguran, Perempuan

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to analyze student’s satisfaction on the quality of laboratory services in Biology Education. The exploratory research was used in this research. The subjects in this research are Biology Education’s students of FKIP Tanjungpura University. The data were collected using questionnaire with Likert scale. Data were analyzed to reveal the picture on the ground that were collected descriptively by interpreting the results of data processing through the tabulation. The results of this research are: (1) The level of students’s satisfaction to the services of laboratory/laboratory staff in the amount of 41.24% stated quite satisfied, 42.27% are satisfied, and 11.34% are very satisfied; (2) The level of students’s satisfaction to the service of lab assistant in the amount of 40.21% stated quite satisfied, 40.21% are satisfied, and 12.37% are very satisfied; (3) The level of students’s satisfaction to the equipment in the lab in the amount of 58.76% stated quite satisfied, 21.66% are satisfied, and 2.06% are very satisfied; (4) The level of students’s satisfaction to the lab materials in the amount of 52.58% stated quite satisfied, 22.68% are satisfied, and 2.06% are very satisfied; (5) The level of students’s satisfaction to the physical facilities and supporting laboratories in the amount of 46.39% stated quite satisfied, 22.68% are satisfied, and 5:15% very satisfied. Overall the level of student’s satisfaction to the laboratory services of Biology Education in FKIP Tanjungpura University is quite satisfied. Keywords: student’s satisfaction, laboratory services, quite satisfied.

Abstract

Abstract Human behavior in searching different information but can establish a pattern that can be known the model search. In the case of this study, the focus is the behavior of students in searching information to meet the learning needs on campus. Exploratory research methodology with a quantitative approach. Collecting data through distributing questionnaires to 93 respondents to the survey technique as the primary data and conducting interviews as secondary data. Data analysis techniques performed by regression analysis model tiered or SEM (structural equation modeling) with Partial Least Square approach using tools SmartPls 2.0 and SPSS program to test for normality of data. The results showed that the characteristics of all respondents belonging to the Internet generation (net generation) or better known as a digital native with instant information search behavior patterns and digital in meeting information needs. Amounting to 68.82% of respondents chose the resources in the form of electronic media format as a medium of learning than the printed media. Amounting to 62.37% of respondents prefer to access information to support their learning tasks derived from internet and as much as 54.84% using the smartphone as a support tool accessing such information. In conclusion digital native generation tend to like information search patterns that come into contact with technology, is fast and easy, and like source of information in electronic media. Thus forming the pattern of searches ranging from needs information analysis (task/add insight) – environment (economic) - access location (internet/library) – selection (source of relevant information). Keywords: behavior, information retrieval, digital native

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to determine the level of satisfaction the performance of the partner schools force students PPL 2012 Penjaskesrek FKIP Untan. The method used in this research was quantitative descriptive method. Engineering samples used in this study using total sampling so the sample amounted to 53 people. The results of the data analysis related to all aspects of the teacher’s competency showed that the level of satisfaction the performance of the partner schools force students PPL Penjaskesrek FKIP Untan odd semester 2015/2016 is in Good category (B). Meanwhile, from the assessment of competencies prospective teachers required, namely: (1) Social Competence is in the Very Good category; (2) Personality Competence is in the Very Good category; (3) Professional Competence is in the Good category; and (4) Pedagogic Competence is in the Good category. Keywords : Level of Satisfaction, Performance, Students PPL

Abstract

Abstrak Untuk mengkaji keefektifan suatu fokus pembelajaran yang umum dilakukan yakni berupa uji statistik seperti uji beda dengan melihat signifikansi efektifitasnya. Namun demikian, dapat juga dilakukan dengan memperhatikan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Suatu penerapan pembelajaran yang memfokuskan pada model, metode, pendekatan, strategi, trik, teknik dan media, dapat dilakukan suatu kajian tentang keefektifan penggunaan salah satu bentuk pengkondisian pembelajaran tersebut. Ada lima indikator pembelajaran efektif, yaitu: (1) pengelolaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (2) proses komunikatif, (3) respon peserta didik; (4) aktifitas belajar, (5)    hasil belajar. Untuk kelima indikator pembelajaran efektif saling terkait dan saling mendukung. Pembelajaran dikatakan efektif bila semua indikator dimaksud mencapai kategori minimal baik.Kata kunci: Konsep, Indikator, Pembelajaran Efektif
